Who are our Honored Guests?
Our Honored Guest is students ages 15-24 with special needs. We ask that our guests live within our boundaries. Albertville - Becker - Big Lake - Buffalo - Corcoran - Elk River - Greenfield - Hanover - Maple Grove - Monticello - Otsego - Rockford - Rogers - St. Michael
Where is ANTR Hosted?
We are excited to announce for the second year in a row Rockwoods in Otsego, MN has graciously offered to sponsor ANTR Prom.
What cost is associated with attending ANTR Prom?
Attending prom is free of charge.
If prom is free of charge. what about dresses and tuxes/suits?
A Night to remember prom does cover the cost of tuxedo rental. We host a tux fitting party event a few months before prom. We are diligently working on dress options for our honored guests who would be in need of one. More information about tuxedos and dresses will be sent out after registration has closed.
What does ANTR Prom all entail?
ANTR Prom is more than a prom, it’s an event. Which include: hairstyling and makeup by professional cosmetologists, red carpet roll-out with paparazzi, and cheering fans, dinner; followed by an evening of dancing.
What about dates?
We take great pride in pairing our honored guests with a student host for the evening. The student host is with our honors guest throughout the day’s activities. Their sole responsibility is too make our honored guest feel loved, honored, accepted ,and celebrated.
What are the requirements to be a student host?
We ask are student hosts too be between the ages of 15-24, to be available for the entire durations of A Night to Remember day and evening festivities. We also ask that you attend the mandatory meeting a few weeks before prom. This meeting you will get further details on what the festivities look like, along with information about your assigned Honored Guest
What will you do as a student host?
You will be with your assigned an Honored Guest a few weeks before prom. We ask that you stay with your assigned honored guest at all times. Your sole responsibility is to make the honored guest feel loved, honored, accepted, and celebrated. We do know this isn’t a small task we ask of you. You are a big part in their experience. (ps we’ve even been told our prom is more fun than our student host prom)
What do I wear?
We like to use the term semi-formal. Dress pants, button down shirt, a suit could be a good option, a cute dress. Be comfortable but please no jeans. We also ask that we leave the “Prom” dresses and tuxedo fits for our Honored Guests.
